He may have danced up a storm in La La Land and now Ryan Gosling will be teaming up with director Damien Chazelle once more for the Neil Armstrong biopic, First Man.
The Universal Pictures film follows the adaptation of the book, First Man: A Life of Neil A. Armstrong. The book, written by James Hansen, centers on the astronaut's journey as the first man on the moon. Gosling has been attached to the John Singer script since last year.
According to studios, the story will focus on the risks taken to get Armstrong on the moon from 1961 to 1969.
Hansen will also act as co-producer with Isaac Klausner as executive producer.
The 36-year-old actor received a Golden Globe nomination for La La Land with Chazelle.
Recently, the father of two has received buzz for his appearance in the newly released Blade Runner 2049 trailer with Harrison Ford.
The Neil Armstrong flick will start shooting next year.
