Anyone can make a difference. Some might even say that everyone has a responsibility to try to make the world a better place. While it is possible to make it on our own, many need the benefit of help from others. Besides, giving feels good.

A Harvard Business School study claims that giving makes people happy and that happy people give to their community, “such that happiness and giving may operate in a positive feedback loop.”

Many charities advertise the need for a monetary donation, but not everyone who wants to give has the advantage of being able to give money. Luckily, donating time to your community is needed just as much, if not more in some cases. Whether you feel an obligation to make a positive impact on the world if you want to give back to your community or if giving simply makes you feel good, there are many different ways to volunteer.
