It’s a new year and Britney Spears could have a new beau in Sam Asghari, who many have linked her to recently.
Spears shared a photo on Instagram Sunday, Jan. 1, of how she spent New Year’s Eve, snuggling with her rumored-boyfriend. The two appeared to be on a dinner date and Asghari had his arm around her.
The singer caption the pic simply with, "Happy New Year."
Spears and Asghari still have not confirmed if they are dating or not but this pic sure makes it look like they are.
Rumors of the pair being romantic began when he appeared in Spears’ “Slumber Party” music video. At that time a source told E! News that "They went on a few dates. It's not as big as people think it is, but you never know. Who knows what will happen in the New Year?"
Asghari would be the singer’s first boyfriend since she split from Charlie Ebersol last year. Before she dated Ebersol, Spears dated David Lucado and was engaged to Jason Trawick.
