The coaches’ chairs have been filled for the season twelve premiere of The Voice. Gwen Stefani will be returning to the show to coach alongside longtime boyfriend, Blake Shelton. On Thursday, Jan. 26 Celine Dion tweeted that she will be joining them on the show as Stefani’s advisor.
Dion tweeted the news, writing, “Very excited to join @gwenstefani on @NBCTheVoice as #TeamGwen’s advisor for Battles!”
In an interview with Today, Dion stated, “I know Gwen very well, I know her career, I know how beautiful she is all the time.”
Stefani will be replacing Miley Cyrus as a voice coach. Shelton, Alicia Keys, and Adam Levine will be returning as coaches. Music executive DJ Khaled will be mentoring Keys as coach, Levine will be coached by John Legend, and Shelton with have long time friend Luke Bryan.
The Voice returns Feb. 27.
