After 22 years of marriage, Cuba Gooding Jr. and wife Sara Kapfer are calling it quits. The The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story actor filed for divorce on Jan. 19 after a nearly three-year separation.
Kapfer had initially filed for separation back in April 2014 and the two have been living apart since that time. According to TMZ, Gooding is requesting to share custody of the pair's 10-year-old daughter, Piper. Reports also indicate that the actor is offering spousal support, but has asked to keep all his earnings since the 2014 separation. Those earnings would include his latest roles on The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story and American Horror Story: Roanoke.
Gooding and Kapfer have been together for nearly 30 years and share two older sons in addition to their daughter.
