It's no secret that NFL superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers and his family have not spoken in years and many have speculated that his girlfriend, Olivia Munn, is the reason why. That speculation only grew when the actress took a subtle, yet public dig at the family's drama via social media.
Munn took to Instagram after her beau and his team were eliminated from the playoffs on Sunday, Jan. 22 and in a letter to her man's many fans, she may have thrown in a shot about the family feud.
“So proud of this team. They faced a lot of adversity on and off the field, but battled to get this far,” the 36-year-old posted on Instagram. “THANK YOU to those of you who encouraged and supported them by choosing to put out only positive energy. It helped them get this far.”
That "off the field adversity" she's referring too seems to be a direct dig about the family's rift which became public knowledge after Aaron's brother, Jordan Rodgers, appeared on The Bachelorette. Before winning JoJo Fletcher over on the reality dating show, Jordan shared that he and his parents have been estranged from the Green Bay Packers signal caller for a couple of years.
Aaron hasn't publicly talked about the feud, but his lady threw a little more shade on Instagram than just the letter she wrote. Munn also liked some fan comments that called out Rodgers' family. Some of those she ended up liking included “This team looked liked a family this season- & Aaron Rodgers had a great year, thank you for being his biggest supporter after his family caused so much negative distractions" and “Thank you for standing by Aaron when his own family sold stories to the media in recent weeks and tried very hard to wreck his momentum. He is lucky to have found you. Real love is a gift.”
