French authorities have reportedly arrested more than a dozen people in connection with Kim Kardashian's Paris robbery.
CNN noted that a Parisian law enforcement official said the arrests of 17 suspects came early Monday morning and they were all picked up in and around the city of Paris.
Several reports say that “exploitable DNA” was found on a diamond-encrusted Jacob & Co. Cross which was apparently dropped by one of the suspects as they fled after the robbery scene. The piece is valued at $33,000.
As we reported, Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in a luxury Paris hotel room last October. The reality was not injured during the heist, but the thieves got away with millions in jewels.
Kardashian left Paris immediately following the robbery and took a break from social media for several months after the ordeal.
The suspects will need to be charged in the next 96 hours or they will be released. Early reports have indicated that at least some of those apprehended have been brought before two magistrates for questioning.
