Empire actress Vivica A. Fox shed tears in a recent interview when she talked about her ex-boyfriend, 50 Cent, who she described as her "true love."

During an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show, Fox was asked about a run in she had with 50, whose real name is Curtis Jackson.

It's no secret that the Fox and Jackson haven't been the best of friends since their breakup in 2003, so Williams got the dish about what happened when they bumped into each other recently at a basketball game. Fox's answer and reaction about what went down, however, may surprise you.

The actress started the story explaining that she was lucky enough to be seen the way every woman wants to look when they run into their ex and that is good. She was all smiles and laughing recalling the moment to Williams, but then she got candid and emotional talking about the rapper and insisted he was her "true love."

"I will always have love for him. As much as we’ve been through, I will always have love for him" a teary-eyed Fox said. "He was literally my true love and I hated to have to beef with him, but I’m not gonna let nobody mess with me. I ain’t no punk!"
