More information about the highly anticipated The Flash and Supergirl musical crossover was announced Friday Jan. 21 by their network The CW.  All of your singing favorites from the show will be lending their voices to the special 2-day television event.

Joining the cast's leads, Glee-alumni Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist, are The Flash's Jesse L. Martin, Victor Garber, Carlos Valdes and John Barrowman and Supergirl's Jeremy Jordan.

Because of The Flash heavy talent, most of the action will be taking place on the March 21 episode of the show about the scarlet speedster.  Yet, the fun will begin at the end of the Supergirl's episode airing the day before (March 20), as reported by TV Line.

Supergirl actors David Harewood and Chris Wood will also be crossing over, but leaving their singing voices to their co-stars.  The crossover will follow the two heroes and their squads battling with DC Comics villain The Music Meister.

Executive producer of both shows Greg Berlanti confirmed the news at the 2017 Winter TCA Press Tour.  Fellow Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg shared some more information about the episode.

"When we get to the musical episode, both Barry and Kara will find themselves at pivotal crossroads on their respective series, and the experience of going through the musical will have a great impact on both series going forward."

It is not yet confirmed whether the crossover will include original music or covers, as the script is still being written, as reported by E! News.

While you wait for the musical crossover on March 20 and 21, new episodes of Supergirl and The Flash return on Mon. Jan. 23 at 8/7c and Tues. Jan 24 at 8/7c respectively.
