Elmo, the beloved red monster from Sesame Street is giving a shoutout to Adele, in hopes of a duet.
The Sesame Street character confessed his undeniable adoration of the Grammy-award winning songstress on Australia's The Project TV show.
His appearance was to promote the 47th annual on-air run of Jim Henson's children's show. The furry red Muppet even professed on TV to Adele, "Elmo loves you with all of Elmo's heart!"
Elmo even sent out a series of tweets to Adele, hoping she'll take him up on his request to sing a duet with her, namely being her hit song "Rolling in the Deep." He even covered her song on-air!
Adele and Elmo were in Australia at the same time, as Adele is currently on her tour which concludes in down under on March 19th. Her world tour ends at London's Wembley Station on July 2.
Now Elmo's wishes are being answered, according to the latest tweet he sent out today which is a selfie with his favorite singer! It is not known if Adele has agreed to a duet with the charismatic children's Muppet, but he sure is happy to meet his idol!
