If you have ever struggled with depression Bella Thorne wants you to know that you’re not alone, but Twitter users are not happy about her apparent self-diagnosis.

On Tuesday, April 4,  Thorne revealed on Twitter that she is struggling with depression.

"Came to the conclusion that I struggle with depression:/ you aren’t alone,” she tweeted.

The tweet was later deleted after she got slammed for it via social media.

Huge fan but unless you’ve been diagnosed don’t go throwing that word around, depression is a serious matter,” one person wrote.

Another Twitter user wrote, "'Came to the conclusion', but that's not a diagnosis.”

“Don’t get me wrong, but instead of tweeting, maybe you should see a doctor?” another person said.

“Im not being mean but you cant come to your own conclususion [sic] only a doctor can tell you that,” another user wrote

The Shake it Up star did get some support from people on Twitter though.

This isn’t the first time that the actress has been criticized on Twitter. In January, she told ET that dating in Hollywood is the "worst."

"Dating in Hollywood is literally the worst thing," she said. "People are really crazy on social and, unfortunately, I date people that have girls, like, in love with them. They're, like, really in love with them and they want to kill me. Literally, I was getting death threats, full-on death threats on Twitter.”
