Busy Philips had a super creepy and pretty frightening Uber ride where she actually thought she and her husband were going to be killed by the driver and another man.
The actress shared what happened via her Instagram story.
Philips said that she and her hubby, Marc Silverstein, got into an Uber over the weekend and something just didn't seem right.
She said she thought the driver was strange and commented to her husband about it, but didn't expect someone else to be listening to them.
“I said to my husband, 'Oh, that guy was weird. Are you sure he’s not going to kill us?’ And then from the f****** way back, a voice is like, I promise that won’t happen.’ And there was just like a f****** crazy, scary dude in way back of this Uber,” she said about another man in the back of the vehicle who “didn’t make himself known” that he was even in there.
“Basically I was like, I will not be killed tonight!’ and I jumped out and started screaming at this freaking creepy Uber driver. I was like, This is not happening. I will not be killed tonight.’”
The 37-year-old added, “I’m not trying to be alarmist or whatever, but I definitely feel like those guys were trying to murder me tonight. I legitimately felt that way and it was really scary."
Philips let her followers know that she and Silverstein eventually got into a Lyft where they both felt safe.
After such a frightening experience, we're guessing they'll be using Lyft over Uber a bit more now.
