The Los Angeles Police Department reportedly responded to a call from the home of Dancing With the Stars pros Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd on Monday night after a man attempted to break in.
The news some from Maks' season 24 partner, Heather Morris, who was surprisingly booted from the competition during this week's live elimination. The 30-year-old Glee alum appeared on Good Morning America Tuesday, but her partner was noticeably absent.

Host Lara Spencer mentioned that Chmerkovskiy had an emergency and asked Morris if she could elaborate at all on why he would not be joining her and if he and Murgatroyd were all right.
"[They had] some sort of run-in with a man near their house," Morris revealed. She added that the perp was "trying to break into" but "The police were there and they took care of it. They are safe and Peta is okay and that's the most important thing -- that we are making sure she is calm."
The questions then shifted to the shocking elimination the night before when Morris and Maks were sent packing even after garnering the first perfect scores of the season.
Immediately following their elimination Murgatroyd said, "I'm so upset for him [Maks]. He was so excited. He was just getting over his calf injury, and I mean, I swear they were gonna be in the finals. I mean, they're incredible together. I just don't understand it. But you know the show is based so heavily on fan votes, so I think that's just it. They just lacked that I guess."
