With just two episodes to go of this season of Criminal Minds, we’re getting closer to resolving what has been a long, ongoing plot for Reid. After learning his trial has been pushed back for six more weeks, Reid is feeling torn but his lawyer assures him this will allow the team time to find Scratch and the mystery woman he remembered. In the meantime, he gets an unexpected visit from his mother, which leads to another revelation that leaves him stunned and worried.
Meanwhile, the team gets a case that “hits close to home,” as Emily tells her team, when Stephen’s friend is poisoned after he is first presented at the hospital as having a heart attack. However, when Stephen realizes he has been poisoned, the BAU realizes something bigger is at work.
We got to see a different look into the newest BAU agent, including meeting his wife and learning a little about his work with the Behaviorial Analysis Program before he came to the BAU. Plus, Reid’s case is now leading us toward a conclusion and we can only hope this will bring our by home.
