One day ago, authorities announced that Erin Moran's death was likely from stage 4 cancer, however, they did not specify what type of cancer Moran had. Now, the late actress' husband is opening up about her last days and revealed what kind of aggressive cancer she had.
Steven Fleischmann decided to let the public know the truth about his wife's illness and how she spent her final moments on Earth.

In an emotional letter, Fleischmann said that he was with the Happy Days star when she passed away in her sleep on Saturday, April 22. Not only was he by her side but he also held her hand as she went peacefully. He further detailed some of her last moments and said that Moran was diagnosed with throat cancer over a year ago.
"She was feeling fine on our anniversary 11-23-2016," Fleischmann revealed. "Erin woke up and had about a dime size blood stain on her pillowcase. She said 'I think I bit my tongue.'"
Since she continued to bleed the couple went to the doctor and tests showed that she had the cancer.
He confessed that his wife bravely battled the disease and had undergone chemotherapy once a week and radiation treatments five days a week, but the cancer spread to her spleen and brain. Towards the end of her life Moran could not speak and needed a feeding tube.
"It got so bad so fast. By the middle of February, Erin could no longer speak or eat or drink. She had a feeding tube implant and I feed (sic) her 6 to 8 times a day."
Fleischmann's letter also stated that Moran died 25 years to the day the two of them first met back on April 22, 1992.
