Fate of the Furious star Tyrese Gibson has finally uttered his mea culpa for some misogynistic comments he made about women last week.

As we reported, the actor made the offensive comments during a BET live segment in which he called out and "gave advice" to "promiscuous" women who he described as putting “a lot of miles” on themselves.

His remarks of course caused all kinds of outrage on social media and many were angered even more that he neglected to mention anything negative about men who do the exact same thing and have a lot of sexual partners.

Finally, after feeling the wrath of Twitter, Gibson took to Instagram on Saturday, April 15, and apologized in a lengthy post for his commentary writing in part, "For the record I'm far from a misogynist, a male chauvinist or flat out mean..... My intentions were there but my delivery f**king horrible.... And clearly all the way off.... And for that I sincerely apologize to all of the ladies... Even after this apology.... Some may likely decide to NOT forgive me.... Time and consistency heals all wounds."

He went on to say that he has been feeling the heat even from his wife after and getting dragged on social media and asked again for forgiveness.

"Please accept this as my sincere apology for my poor choice of words - Sh*t gets real when it goes from a social media dragging to my own wife giving me the side eye and coming at me, even she's not happy with the way I've conducted myself."
