Kaylee Rutland is an energetic and upbeat singer/songwriter who is studying Music Business at Belmont University. She was bitten by the music bug at the age of 8 when she performed her first solo for a Christmas musical at her church. By her teens, she was fully committed to writing her own songs.

Where does her passion come from? Kaylee tells us, "I am driven by my faith and I'm very close with my family. I like to write and sing about positive messages with an encouraging vibe even if it's about a tough subject."

Her new single “Pick Me Up,” is now playing on Great American Country, CMT.com, The Country Network and Radio Disney Country (RDC).

She hopes to inspire others with her lyrics, not just make music. She says, “Sometimes people just need a song that motivates and encourages them. Even when times aren’t great, I want people to know that they can always pull through.”

Does her sound feel familiar? That's because Kaylee has some amazing artists that inspire her. She says, “Reba, Carrie Underwood and Sara Evans were a natural part of my life growing up, because I was always listening to them on the radio."

She's currently working on new music and is very excited to share it with her fans, who she loves dearly. Let's see if we can give Kaylee's fans some new gems of information on her!
