After Pepsi pulled its controversial ad, featuring Kendall Jenner and showing protest imagery, many wondered when the 21-year-old would speak out about what she thought of the commercial. Well turns out she did have something to say about it prior to the backlash and now her words are coming back to bite her.

Usually now would've been a good time for the Kardashian-Jenner clan to call one of their PR people and have Jenner say something like she's sorry for appearing in the ad and didn't completely think it through before doing it. It's too late for that though. You See Jenner already said how she felt about the ad before social media users voiced their displeasure about what was depicted in it.

The model was all about the concept and actually called the commercial "fun" and "entertaining."

“I had never been to Bangkok before, so it was interesting to be in that city” Jenner told Women’s Wear Daily of the location for the shoot. “There were a lot of really cool people on set that I got to meet. It was fun. It was entertaining. The whole concept is really something that I’m about, so it was just fun to be a part of.”

Whoops! She probably wishes she could take those words back now since that ad created such a negative social media firestorm and forced Pepsi to pull it not long after it debuted.

The soda company released a statement about why it was pulled and even apologized to Jenner for it.

“Pepsi was trying to project a global message of unity, peace and understanding,” the company said in a statement. “Clearly we missed the mark, and we apologize. We did not intend to make light of any serious issue. We are pulling the content and halting any further rollout. We also apologize for putting Kendall Jenner in this position.”

But now knowing how Kendall really felt there was no need for the company apologize to her and there is not really much she can say now which is probably why she kept her head down and tried covering her face when she arrived in Paris.
