Shine bright, shine far, don't be shy, be a star, where you live, where you are, GET EXCITED! The iconic Disney movie Life-Size is getting a sequel!

The 2000 hit starring Tyra Banks and Lindsay Lohan is being remade and will premiere on Freeform in December of 2018. Banks had confirmed the idea of a sequel in 2014 revealing, "I have a meeting today to go over the script! I swear! I don’t think it’ll be out until probably 2015, but I’m guessing – it could be late 2014 or 2015. But it will be back – Life-Size will be back, better than ever.”

A year later, the supermodel confirmed her role in the movie by adding, “There is no one else that can play Eve but me, thank you very much! I’m just joking with you, but yes, I am going to be Eve.”

However, contrary to Banks' expectations, it has taken this long to get together. A press release from Freeform on Wednesday, April 19, said, “In the sequel, everyone’s favorite doll Eve has grown up. This time, she’s magically awoken to help a young woman learn to live and love again and along the way, Eve herself will experience the ups and downs of real life in a fun, edgy, modern Christmas movie.”

While Banks seems over the moon about the revival, her former castmate has yet to comment on the news. Lindsay Lohan played Casey Stuart, a young girl whose doll, Eve [Banks], is brought to life by accident in an attempt to bring back her dead mother.  While it would be surprising for Lohan to reprise her role as Casey given the years since the original, many are asking whether or not she will make a cameo.
