Britney Spears might be ending her Las Vegas residency, but her fans may have something else to rejoice about with a possible musical coming to Broadway.
Forbes reported that the pop star's manager, Larry Rudolph, met with theatre extraordinaire Jerry Mitchell to talk about turning her chart toppers into musical numbers.
While Mitchell brought Emilio and Gloria Estefan's story into fruition in On Your Feet!, Spears' musical will translate differently on stage.
"It would NOT be autobiographical," Mitchell emphasized and all her songs would tie in like a fictional narrative.
No one in Spears's camp has confirmed the musical concept and there is no word whether the 35-year-old would star in it.
For her summer plans, the mother of two will be touring abroad, from Manila to Tel Aviv.
Last month, the "Slumber Party" singer received the Radio Disney Music Icon Award. Artists like Kelsea Ballerini and Spears's sister, Jamie Lynn, honored the "Princess of Pop" in Los Angeles with a slew of performances.
