Steve Harvey's daytime talk show in Chicago is ending and he may have left his staffers there with a bad taste in their mouth over a note he allegedly sent them earlier this season laying out some new rules.

The email, allegedly from the funny man, was published by Chicago blogger Robert Feder but there isn't much to laugh about as the author seems to be angry and serious.

“There will be no meetings in my dressing room. No stopping by or popping in. NO ONE,” the email read. “Do not come to my dressing room unless invited. Do not open my dressing room door. IF YOU OPEN MY DOOR, EXPECT TO BE REMOVED.”

It goes on to say Harvey's security team will stop everyone who goes to his door to talk with him and not to speak to him while he is in his makeup chair unless spoken to.

The letter concludes by saying, “I promise you I will not entertain you in the hallway and do not attempt to walk with me,” and that this is for “the good of my personal life and enjoyment.”

Yikes! Following an email like that the 80 Steve Harvey Show employees may not be too sad to see their boss move to the West Coast. We have to wonder if those rules will be in effect on the L.A. set of the comedian's new show titled Steve, which is set to premiere on Sept. 5.
