Flip or Flop's Tarek and Christina El Moussa are being sued for allegedly not paying wages to a former employee.

US Weekly reported that a lawsuit has been filed against the HGTV stars by realtor, Jonathan Schmier, who claims he was not paid for helping the former couple find houses to flip.

In court documents, Schmier alleged that the Flip or Flop hosts owe him more than $30,000. He claims that the pair asked him to find houses for them in North Carolina and agreed on $5,000 per property. Schmier says that was never paid and he is entitled to “back wages in the amount of $12,800” and “commission in the amount of $25,000" for a total of $37,800.

Those homes Schmier found never made it onto the show.

The New York Daily News noted that in addition to the El Moussas, the realtor is also suing their property management company Next Level Property Investments and the former couple's business partner Peter De Best, as well as HGTV and Scripps Network.

HGTV stated that the network is "aware of the lawsuit filed in North Carolina but we don’t comment on pending litigation."

Tarek and Christina have not yet commented on the suit.
