Are you still waiting for your favorite television show to get renewed? Welcome to the club!
USA Today ran a poll to find out what shows networks need to focus on to keep viewers happy. The poll ran from April 5-26 at at saveourshows.usatoday.com.
The USA Today poll garnered over 146,600 votes and has been running annually for 20 years now. On why they run the poll every year, Managing Editor of the Life section, Alison Maxwell said, “Our readers are passionate about TV, and that’s reflected in the record breaking turnout for this year’s Save Our Shows vote. Even more impressive is that the stars of some of the bubble shows joined in on the voting fun.”

It's not just the viewers who are anxiously awaiting renewal notices. NBC's Timeless actress Abigail Spencer was asked if she could take a time machine what would she have execs do. Her response, “I would have picked us up for three seasons."
The good news for Abigail and her time-traveling cohorts, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett and Goran Visnjic (ER) is that 49 percent of poll takers want her show back. Right behind them are the Elementary sleuthing duo, Sherlock and Watson, played by Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu who pair up with New York City detectives played by Aidan Quinn and Jon Michael Hill.
Some shows we know didn't do well and are unlikely to get picked up like Code Black and Chicago Justice, but viewers can still hope. Priyanka Chopra's Quantico is actually surprisingly low on the list, along with Last Man Standing, although that may have more to do with Tim Allen's politics than the show itself.
