The news that Aaron Carter came out last week as bisexual was news to both Adam Lambert and Gigi Gorgeous.
TooFab caught up with both stars at Out Magazine’s Power 50 Gala Presented by Genesis and asked them what they thought.
Lambert, who came out in 2006 after coming in second on American Idol, was supportive saying, "I think that what is so exciting is there’s so many young people right now that are choosing to either declare or not declare at all. It’s an exciting time for freedom.”
Gigi Gorgeous, YouTuber, model and actress who underwent gender reassignment surgery in 2014, reacted with positivity as well, exclaiming, “He came out? … Oh my god, that's amazing!”
Carter, who has since left Twitter after his announcement, told TMZ that while Tom Hardy is his celeb of choice to ask on a date, Lambert comes a close second, adding, “He had something really nice to say about me, and I have actually always loved his music.”
