In an appearance on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci spoke out against White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon, including condemning his "tolerance" of white supremacists.
Greeted by a loud chorus of boos Scaramucci sat down with Colbert who asked him straight out whether Nazis are good or bad, to which Scarmucci responded, "super bad."
Colbert then went right in for the kill asking why he thought President Trump didn't make a stronger statement right away instead of waiting two days to make a bland comment against the violence.
"Does he order his spine on Amazon Prime?"
Scaramucci simply said he can't speak for the president, but he himself would encourage a stronger response.
As to the question about the politics within the White House, Scaramucci claimed that there is a lot of backstabbing and in-fighting to garner the president's favor.
Is Steve Bannon a leaker? Scaramucci thinks so and that he should be gone sooner than later.
Is Steve Bannon a white supremacist?
"I don’t think he’s a white supremacist," Scaramucci said. "Although I’ve never asked him if he’s a white supremacist. What I don't like though is the toleration."
As for his opinion of the president, he said he thinks Trump is a compassionate man who gave up a lot to run the country.
To which Colbert replied, "Who cares? Really, we're supposed to feel bad for a guy because he gave up his billion dollar lifestyle to be the most powerful man in the world? I don't understand."
