The Captain America star took to his Twitter on Sun., Sept. 3 to post a video of him being welcomed home by his dog. The caption reads “After 10 long weeks…”
Yup, it doesn’t get much more adorable than that folks. And have you ever wanted a dog of your own so badly?

The dog’s name is Dodger, Evans adopted him a year ago while working on the film Gifted. Evans had been missing his new fuzzy friend while he was away (can you blame him?) as he posted this to his twitter a couple weeks prior to their reunion:
While Evans didn’t confirm why he was away for so long, it seems most likely he was off filming the still untitled Avengers 4 — which will be released on May 3, 2019. Before that, however, is Avengers: Infinity War which comes out on May 4, 2018.
Let’s all just hope that Kevin Feige — president of Marvel Studios — will see it fit to give Steve Rodgers a canine sidekick in the next Captain America movie, because who wouldn't want to see Evans and Dodger team up together on-screen?
