Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be returning to your console in time for the purple dragon’s 20th anniversary.
Fans of the original game series, Spyro, will be psyched to hear that their favorite dragon protagonist is back, and he is better than ever.
Developed by Skylanders’ devs, Toys for Bob, the Spyro Reignited Trilogy will include three original PS1 outings. The games Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage and Spyro: Year of the Dragon, will all feature new, remastered graphics and sound.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be available on PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One and Xbox One X on Sept. 21, 2018.
Currently, Syro Reignited Trilogy is available for pre-order and will be $39.99 on both platforms. Paul Yan and Joshua Nadelberg, two of the games developers, discussed the development of this trilogy in an Interview with IGN.

The original games were developed by Insomniac Games. Toys for Bob showed them early iterations of the remastered version, but only for feedback purposes, and Insomniac Games is not officially attached to the remastered trilogy.
Toys for Bob began working with Spyro the Dragon character on their game, Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure.
This game will feature a “reimagining” of Stewart Copelan’s soundtrack from the original games. Many of the voice actors have re-recorded the original voice acting. Fans will know that Spyro had two different voices in the original games: Tom Kenny, who voiced Spyro in Ripto’s Rage and Year of the Dragon, will be voicing Spyro in all three remastered games.
