The biggest question since 'Is the dress blue and black or white and gold?" is:

"Do you hear 'Yanny' or 'Laurel'?

Since the "what's the dress color?" debate went viral in 2015, the world was turned upside down by a short clip that appears to say "Yanny" and "Laurel."

According to Wired, the clip was first posted by freshman Katie Hetzel who was studying for her world literature class in Georgia when she searched "laurel" on Vocabulary.com.

At that moment, she heard 'yanny' instead of the word on the screen. You can hear the original recording here.

After Hetzel posted the obscure recording on her Instagram story, Reddit user RolandCamry caught it on his friend's Instagram and posted the clip on the subreddit blackmagicf***ery.

Cloe Feldman then found the 'Yanny' or 'Laurel' debate and posted it to her 213,000 followers on Twitter, where it went viral.

Apparently, you can hear both words or each word separately depending on their frequencies. It all depends on the speakers' bass, pitch or volume.
