PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, commonly shortened to PUGB, had an update Thursday in Xbox One to fix a crash on the inventory screen.

As a consequence, according to Newsweek, some features may have been removed but the developers are working to make sure the game's visuals return to normal.

The patch temporarily deletes the 3D rendition of the player character on the inventory screen, as that was causing a significant number of crashes, according to the game's official Reddit page. Once the developers figure out the problem, the rendition will be added back in with an option to turn it off in the settings if desired or necessary.

Though this patch only fixed one minor problem, it is another step in the developers' ongoing mission to reduce game crashes and increase performance.

The next patch release for Xbox One is expected to be as soon as June 26. This patch is also expected to deal with decreasing crashing and increasing performance.
