Day 5 inside the Big Brother house. The game is real now.

Swaggy C thinks Tyler wasted his nominations. Steve and Sam are both ready to keep themselves safe. Tyler becomes the second cryer of the season, but it seems like he was putting on a bit of show. Sam wants to talk to everyone in the house to try and feel out their thoughts on nominations. It really has been a rough start to the game for Sam and she needs to come out with some fire and ready to play.

Steve is also doing a bit of feeling out of his own. It seems that he and Scottie have gotten close and seemed to have formed a partnership. The first unofficial alliance it looks like. This is the first of several alliances to be formed tonight. Winston, Angela, Rachel, Kaycee, Tyler and Brett officially form the Level 6 alliance. I like this alliance and think they have a decent shot to go far in this game.

The second alliance formed is F.O.U.T.T.E. which stands for “five of us til the end.” This alliance consists of Swaggy C, Faysal, Rockstar, Hayleigh and Kaitlyn. I’m not sold on this alliance. Swaggy C and Faysal also try to do a side alliance deal with Winston and Brett about trying to make a final four alliance or “gentlemen’s agreement.” It doesn’t seem that Brett/Winston will be on board with that alliance.

Sam is really struggling with this robot punishment. She feels like a ghost every time she comes back into the house. She has a bit of an emotional breakdown and some of the HG (mainly JC) try to calm her down and motivate her a bit and remind her that it’s just a game. The first four Have Not’s of the summer are Kaitlyn, Brett, Winston and Scottie. It’s sometimes a smart move to volunteer as a Have Not, even though it means cold showers and slop for the week.

The BB App store is officially open. The top trending HG will be allowed to choose a power app for a special power in the game while the least trending HG will receive a crap app as a punishment. One by one the HG go and find out if they are trending or not. They all have their own theories and Faysal is shocked that he is the least trending HG. He selects the hamazon punishment, which means he must eat ham every time it is delivered to the house.

The top trending HG is Sam, which is a huge boost for her. She seems genuinely shocked and appreciative. She selects the bonus life app, which is good through the first four evictions. It can allow either herself or an HG of her choice the chance to return to the game. The catch is if she doesn’t use it, the fourth evicted HG will automatically return to the game.

It was hilarious watching Swaggy C be legitimately upset that he wasn’t the top trending HG. Sam’s power will help her game and she is happy she was chosen. Tyler is just hoping that nominations remain the same (I’m not sure who he is targeting, I would have to guess Steve). It all comes down to the first Power of Veto!

Who will win the Power of Veto? Will it be used to save Sam or Steve from eviction?
