In episode eight of Cloak & Dagger, Tandy works on taking down Roxxon, while Tyrone tries to bring Connors to justice on the anniversary of Billy and Nathan's deaths.

Previously on Cloak & Dagger, Tandy and Tyrone helped rescue Ivan from a never-ending loop that kept repeating the rig explosion.

“Ghost Stories” opens on Tandy and Tyrone as children. Nathan encourages Tandy’s ballet dancing, and Billy encourages Tyrone to be a great person. Time skips and it’s now eight years to the day both Billy and Nathan died.

Officer Fuchs makes O’Reilly breakfast. She tells him she passed her psych evaluation after the shooting, but she feels like something is wrong. They talk about Connors and Fuchs says he wants to help.

Tandy goes to the hospital to see Ivan, and sees Peter Scarborough leaving. Ivan says Scarborough was just checking in to see his recovery. Tandy asks him about the night of the rig explosion. Ivan remembers some of the night. He says Nathan believed what they were drilling for was an “ancient” kind of power. Ivan reveals he neglected to tell Scarborough that Nathan had a memo about problems with the rig. He says it will be in a safety deposit box under the name Bernoulli. He wishes he could help more, but he’s scared of Roxxon and doesn’t want to put Mina in danger.

Tandy brings her mom Melissa some coffee and the two chat about a memorial tradition they have for Nathan. Tandy asks Melissa if she knew about Nathan’s safety deposit box. Melissa says she’s been looking for it for years. Tandy reveals she may know its location. They talk about Nathan as they look through a box Melissa’s kept of Nathan’s stuff and find a key.

The Johnson’s eat breakfast and Tyrone realizes his parents want to ignore the anniversary of Billy’s death. Adina says she’s busy and Otis wants to bring the Red Hawks over to work on their outfits.

Tyrone answers the door to find Tandy, and he feels awkward about her visiting. Tandy introduces herself to Tyrone’s parents and asks if they’re doing anything to celebrate Billy’s life. They say no and Tandy makes her excuses. She invites Tyrone to join her and her mom later that night in remembrance of their dead relatives. Tyrone says maybe and Tandy leaves. Outside she looks at her loot, she stole Adina’s Roxxon consultant badge.

In a flashback, young Tandy wanders the streets and steals someone’s phone. She calls home, but only gets the answering machine.

At the police station, Connors asks O’Reilly if she recognizes the sketch of the kid that ran away during the shooting. O’Reilly claims she doesn’t know because she only saw his back. Connors swears it's him and says they have to deal with the kid. The camera zooms in on an artist sketch of Tyrone.

The Red Hawks come over and work on their outfits. The Red Hawks work on their outfits and talk. Otis takes the cloak Billy was working on and holds it, crying. Tyrone tries to comfort his father.

O’Reilly texts Tyrone and tells him to meet her outside. She warns him Connors is after him, but Tyrone refuses to back down. O’Reilly realizes it’s the anniversary of Billy’s death and says Connors has been anxious. Tyrone is determined to make sure Connors never forgets that he murdered Billy.

In a flashback, young Tyrone walks up to a tour Auntie Chantelle is giving. She talks about how a ghost won’t hurt you unless it’s seeking justice.

Back in the present day, Tyrone looks at Billy’s cloak. He buys a shirt and makes it look like there’s bullet holes and blood everywhere. He goes to O’Reilly and Fuchs and tells them his plan to dress up as Billy and haunt Connors. Neither thinks it’s a good idea, but Tyrone reveals what he can do by putting on Billy’s cloak.

In another flashback, young Tandy arrives home to find her mom unresponsive on the couch. She calls 911 after seeing the alcohol and pills on the table.

Tandy goes to Roxxon and uses Adina’s ID. She uses her daggers to damage property and destroys power to the building. Scarborough is going up the escalator when the power goes out and gets on his phone to call someone. Tandy comes from behind and puts a dagger to his throat.

Meanwhile, Tyrone haunts Connors. He steals his gun and then touches him, making him relive killing Billy. He whispers that Connors killed him and disappears before Connors turn around. When Connors looks for his gun again, it’s in its holder.

O’Reilly calls Connors and brings a sketch of Billy, claiming it's who he had the sketch artist draw. She says the boy’s been sighted. She mentions on the day of Duane's shooting, she didn’t see whoever he was chasing. Connors looks over and sees Tyrone, but O’Reilly says she sees no one. Connors chases Tyrone, who keeps disappearing. He continues to shoot at Tyrone until he shows up right in front of him and confronts him about killing Billy. Tyrone says his name is Billy and ends up getting a full confession out of Connors. Fuchs comes out with his phone, saying he got it all on video. O’Reilly arrives and arrests Connors for Billy’s murder.

Tandy interrogates Scarborough. She talks about how the rig workers were infected. She confronts him about her father’s memo, which talks about how dangerous the rig could be without the heat shielding he suggested. Tandy also shows him a piece of the rig, which appears melted. He tried to deny her claims, but she talks about going to the press. He offers her and her mother money, after insinuating her father wasn’t that good of a person. Tandy tells him she doesn’t want money; she wants her father to be alive. She slices through a wooden beam as she leaves and the room shakes.

At the police station, Fuchs lets O’Reilly know he has the video in evidence. Fuchs mentions Tyrone’s powers and O’Reilly says she’s seen similar things before. She mentions her friend Misty (Misty Knight from Luke Cage) and says she will tell him stories later. The two kiss and make plans to have breakfast, every day. Fuchs is happy that she’s decided to invest in their relationship and they kiss again.

Tyrone and Tandy stand on the beach. They tell each other about their day. Tandy says she’s going to the press and is glad that her father’s name will be cleared. Melissa shows up and Tandy introduces her to Tyrone. They hold hands for a moment of silence for Billy, but Tandy and Tyrone show up in the vision place.

In the vision, they see Tandy’s old front door and she opens it to find a theater. They realize it’s Melissa’s memories and her fears. The screen plays a movie while Melissa watches in one of the seats. The movie flashes on and off and Melissa disappears. Tandy gets close to the screen and rips it with a dagger. Behind the screen is her house. She sees the scene again, but this time it’s her mother spilling a drink on her dad’s papers. Nathan hits Melissa and then the vision ends. Back in the real world, Tandy looks painfully at her mother and lights the lantern. After, Tyrone follows Tandy home, wanting to comfort his friend but being unable to given that they cannot touch.

In another flashback, Melissa tells a young Tandy always rely on herself and no one else. Back in the present, Tandy calls Scarborough and tells him she will accept his money. Tandy hides a lot of the money in a statue in the church.

In a Tyrone flashback, Tyrone watches his mom breakdown after Billy’s death. He slept at the foot of their bed that night.

O’Reilly goes to Fuchs’s house and tells him she’s ready for pancakes. She opens the fridge and finds Fuchs’s dead body.

“Ghost Stories” is another great episode of Cloak & Dagger. This episode had some shocking moments and I thought the cast did really well. I love how Tyrone continues to try to comfort everyone. Tandy accepting the money seemed in character, but I feel like she will still try to take down Roxxon. I thought the flashbacks were a nice touch this episode.

Cloak & Dagger airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on Freeform. Check out the preview for the next episode “Back Breaker” below.
