Georgina Campbell, known for Black Mirror, and Ian Gelder from Game of Thrones, join the fantasy drama His Dark Materials cast.
James McAvoy, Dafne Keen, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ruth Wilson, Clarke Peters, and Ariyon Bakare have already been cast in the eight-episode series for BBC and New Line Cinema.
Will Keen, Anne-Marie Duff, James Cosmo, Geoff Bell, Lucian Msamati, Simon Manyonda, and Mat Fraser have also joined the cast. According to The Hollywood Reporter, shooting has already begun in Wales.
The series is being adapted from Philip Pullman's novels by Wonder writer Jack Thorne.
Lyra (Keen) lives in Jordan College, Oxford, having been placed there by her uncle (McAvoy). When Mrs. Coulter (Wilson) takes an interest in her, Lyra begins a journey that takes her to London and back. Ms. Keen's father, from Wolf Hall, also has a role as Father McPhail, according to Deadline.
