The Celebrity Cafe is looking for a part-time social media coordinator to help create and maintain a strong online presence for our site on a wide variety of platforms by helping to develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more readers and increase traffic.
Our ideal candidate would be funny and provocative, have a love of all things entertainment and entertaining, be versed on a wide variety of social media and be comfortable working in a virtual office.
Responsibilities:
- Research audience preferences and discover current trends
- Promoting editorial and video content on Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Reddit and Google +.
- Researching and curating content and images for use on our social channels
- Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
- Suggest new ways to attract prospective readers, like promotions and competitions
- Measure web traffic and monitor SEO
- Conducting research on social media partnerships for initiatives such as Instagram takeovers
- Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
- Engaging with our community across all social channels
- Promote contests and other website related tasks.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a social media coordinator
- Expertise in multiple social media platforms, especially Instagram grid curation and Instagram stories and Snapchat Stories
- In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
- Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
- Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
- Excellent communication skills
- Multitasking and analytical skills
