Carlos Vela, forward for Los Angeles Football Club & 2018 MLS All-Star Captain is on cloud nine. The World Cup just wrapped up and MLS is going on now. He was essential in Mexico’s impressive 1-0 upset of defending champion Germany in the opening match of their World Cup draw.
Vela scored 8 goals this season for Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) helping his new team to a surprising second place in the Western Conference.
Los Angeles Football Club is an American professional soccer franchise based in Los Angeles, California, that competes in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Western Conference. The franchise plays their home games at the Bank of California Stadium in the Exposition Park neighborhood.
