One Punch Man Season 2 has been the subject of a lot of speculation as to when it will release its second season.

And clarity was brought out on Sunday morning as Viz Media announced that One Punch Man Season 2 won’t be releasing in winter 2020 but in April 2019!

This news comes as a bit of a relief to fans of the anime who believed that 2020 was too long of a wait for the continuation of the series.

But the premiere episode of season 2 that was rumored to come out Sunday at the event in Japan where the anime's news was being revealed, did not release—meaning fans will get the full anime in April 2019.

Viz did release a trailer for the upcoming second season which showcases Saitama in a quick-scope of Season 1 and a text montage, encompassing the core of One Punch Man’s central character’s thoughts pertaining to his strength, evil and even Genos’ journey to becoming stronger.
