David Hasselhoff, former "Baywatch" star, admitted to struggling with alcoholism, after a video showcasing his drunken behavior was aired on U.S. television. Hasselhoff's 16-year-old daughter, Taylor Ann, is believed to have captured the footage so that she could show her father how he behaved while drunk. However, Hasselhoff revealed that the tape was not meant to be aired publically. "It got into the hands of individuals who are not worthy of mentioning, who maliciously released the tape for their own self purpose," he said. Pamela Bach, Hasselhoff's ex-wife, who has been battling the actor over financial and custody issues, denied playing any role in releasing the tape. The tape shows the actor lying on the floor shirtless, struggling to eat a hamburger. A voice, believed to be Taylor Ann, is heard in the video, saying "Dad, look what this is doing to you. You have to stop drinking alcohol, promise me you won't drink anymore." Hasselhoff claims in the video that he drinks because he is lonely.A grateful Hasselhoff thanked his daughters for the tape they made, a tape that may have fully demonstrated to the actor the state of his disease. "I have seen the tape. I have learned from it and I am back on my game. I thank God for the love and concern from my daughters," he said.
