Michael Jackson was known to be a collector of a myriad of things, which is one reason why he had financial problems, but it is rumored that Jackson was also a collector of Nazi memorabilia and was reportedly “obsessed” with Hitler’s regime and had a collection of Nazi-era films. Jackson was also known for his military style clothes he wore.
Nazi collector and seller Norman Scherer claims to have sold many items to Jackson. He told the New York Post that Jackson had “a really good collection,” and sold him titles such as Nazis: Of Pure Blood, Oasis of the Zombies and Hitler's Children.
He added that Jackson was not shy about his film collection and displayed them openly with his collection of other films. Scherer said a New Yorker who was trying to make orders for a "big client" who wanted to be kept private first approached him in 1995, but Scherer does not sell to discrete clients and the seller turned out to be Jackson.
He said that Jackson was not obsessed with Nazis per se, but was interested in the military uniforms and the goose-stepping in the videos.
