Pop star Lady Gaga has been a vocal supporter for President Barack Obama, who is currently doing a West Coast trip to drum up support for his new jobs bill. Sunday night, Gaga attended a fundraiser for the President near San Jose.
USA Today reports that she did not perform, only attending as a paying guest and listening to Obama’s speech. There were no press photos allowed, so only a press release describing what she wore is available.
According to the release, she wore “...a floor-length sleeveless lacy black dress, her blonde hair was gathered in a bouffant up-do adorned with a black hair piece with a black veil down the back.”
The gala event was held at the home of Facebook chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg, according to The Associated Press. Attendees had to pay $35,800 per couple to go.
While it was described as an intimate gathering, there is no word if Obama and Gaga actually spoke.
