Jon Stewart had words of caution for Bill O’Reilly Wednesday on The Daily Show.
Stewart was taking jabes at President Barack Obama’s recent speech regarding upcoming tax hikes.
He also made fun of Louisiana Sen. John Fleming’s comments about having ‘only’ $600,000 to feed his family. Fleming is the owner of a chain of Subway restaurants.
O’Reilly, known for his conservative views, threatened to leave his show if Obama followed through on his plan to raise taxes on the wealthy.
"If Barack Obama begins taxing me more than 50 percent, which is very possible, I don't know how much longer I'm gonna do this," he said. "I like my job, but there comes a point when taxation becomes oppressive."
After a long pause, Stewart, known for his liberal views, replied to the Fox News anchor’s ultimatum with:
“No…stop…Bill…don’t…please…no.”
The Daily Show airs Monday through Thursday on Comedy Central.
