Jimmy Kimmel Live is still set to film at the Brooklyn Academy of Music this week despite Hurricane Sandy making its way to New York.

"We are bringing in back-up generators and will be able to do our show in the event of a power failure. We are also flying staff and crew out earlier to beat the storm. We have had no audience drop-outs so far despite news of the storm," a rep for the show told Entertainment Weekly.

One of the guests scheduled to appear on October 31 is fellow late night talk show host David Letterman. Kimmel originally asked him to be his first guest during his week of shows in Brooklyn but Letterman turned him down and will instead appear Wednesday night, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.

"I mean, I'd draw Dave's face on every book cover. I was like a teenage girl in love with him," Kimmel joked with The Hollywood Reporter in a 2011 interview.

Other guests set to appear during the week include Chris Rock, Alicia Keys, Howard Stern, Vampire Weekend, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert among others.
