Any fans that were on Twitter Friday had front row seats via social media to One Direction's Zayn Malik and The Wanted's Max George exchanging nasty tweets back and forth.

The tweets have been deleted but they all stemmed from George's photo of himself with Psy that he tweeted which drew Malik to comment on it saying, "The first step is acceptance #geekoftheweek," followed up with, "Your [Twitter] display just [s]how’s how much of a wannabe you are :)" according to Examiner.

George responded to the tweets saying, "That’s not very nice. I was just starting to like you and your RnB hits."

Malik and George's fellow band members joined in on the Twitter war as well.

Tom Parker of The Wanted tweeted, "I think ’1 stripes’ got his knickers in a twist bro," while Louis Tomlinson of One Direction responded to Parker tweeting, "Pipe down bad boy."

The feud just went on from there with Malik going as far as tweeting, "Alright chlamydia boy ;)" to George. This sparked George to tweet back, "Tell me you're problems without the 8 security in NYC.. The only problem I have with you is the s*** banter. Grow up son," according to London's Daily Mail.

Eventually Malik tweeted that he had to go to rehearsal but that didn't stop George from getting in the last word.

"Enjoy rehearsals. Stay off the bud... It clearly makes u cranky," George tweeted.

Fans of the two bands also got into arguments of their own with each other due to Malik and George's Twitter feud.
