Despite criticizing the music festival for its pricey tickets and exclusive contracts, Deadmau5 has announced that he will return to help celebrate Ultra Music Festival’s 15th anniversary in March.

The DJ tweeted, "Well, I caved in... There was just too many of you guys asking me to play at ultra this year, so im doin it for you guys! 🙂 viva la horde."

It was unsure whether Deadmau5 would return to perform after he released a 12-minute video in December of 2011 criticizing the festival for its high ticket prices and its exclusivity contracts. According to Vibe, a 2013 3-day pass will cost $300 or $575 for both back-to-back three-day weekends.

"Ultra to me is the definition of insanity – doing the same f---ing thing every year, expecting different results every time. It's fun and it's cool, and if you've never been, go. But if you are one of those dudes that go every year, it's like, why would you go again?" the DJ said in his rant.

But Deadmau5, who recently announced his engagement to tattoo artist Kat Von D, will perform two closing sets on March 16 and March 23, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The festival is a two-weekend event taking place at Bayfront Park in Miami from March 15-17 and March 22-24.

Other acts include the final performances by Swedish House Mafia, who announced they plan to retire, and Armin van Buuren. The rest of the acts are set to be announced.
