Jay-Z and Kanye West's "No Church In The Wild" played during the trailer for The Great Gatsby and now it has been confirmed that Jay-Z is writing the score of the film with Jeymes Samuel of The Bullitts.

"Jay-Z and myself have been working tirelessly on the score for the upcoming #CLASSIC The Great Gatsby! It is too DOPE for words!" Samuel tweeted on Sunday, December 30.

The film's director Baz Luhrmann even played Jay-Z's music on set as well.

"On my first day he had Jay-Z pumped up full and we did the entire scene with, you know, Jay-Z in our ear on full blast while acting and it was just so liberating," Isla Fisher, who plays Myrtle Wilson, told MTV News.

Aside from Fisher, The Great Gatsby stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, and Tobey Maguire, reports The Huffington Post. It's set to hit theaters on May 10, 2013.
