Kelly Osbourne never thought she'd be a skinny girl but after losing fifty pounds on Dancing with the Stars and keeping it off, she's revealing her weight loss secrets.
One of those secrets is getting happy first before you lose the weight.
"People think I lost weight and then got happy, but that's not how it works. You have to get happy first. I made a life change, and the weight loss was an amazing perk," Osbourne told In Touch magazine, according to London's Daily Mail.
The 27-year-old Fashion Police co-host spoke about her exercise schedule and healthy diet but her ways of keeping off the weight are in no way extreme. Osbourne even includes a cheat-day once a week when she allows herself to eat pizza.
"I do up to half an hour of cardio, and I also do circuit training, yoga or Pilates — I mix it up," she explained to In Touch.
"For breakfast, I will eat either cereal or a little omelet thingy made with egg whites, mushrooms and spinach. Lunch is usually a salad or a turkey burger. And then for dinner, I’ll have brown rice with vegetables and some kind of meat," Osbourne continued.
She's happier and healthier now but talking about her weight loss has been emotional for her, reports The Huffington Post.
Osbourne wrote for Glamour earlier this year in their May issue and revealed, "I call myself an FFP: former fat person. And when you're an FFP, you will always see in yourself what people used to bully you for. Even now I don't consider myself skinny, but I have put a lot of hard work into my body over the years, and in the process, I've really learned to love myself."
She has even encouraged her fans to do something similar to what she's doing if they want to drop a size and to include that cheat-day but Osbourne warns, "Never deprive yourself of anything, because then you get angry about it. People who are hungry are miserable."
