CBS has announced that Mick Jagger and Keith Richards will present the Top 10 List on Late Show With David Letterman on Tuesday, December 11.
This will mark Jagger's and Richards's first appearance on the late show but, according to Examiner, they have appeared on the stage located at New York City's Ed Sullivan Theater before. They performed with The Rolling Stones on the stage for the first time on October 25, 1964 on The Ed Sullivan Show and several times after that.
Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones made their first appearance on Letterman this month as well, on December 3, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The Rolling Stones are currently on their 50th anniversary tour and were just added to the rock star-studded lineup for the 12-12-12 Hurricane Sandy benefit concert occurring Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden.
The band also has other December concert dates that include two shows at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on December 13 and December 15. The December 15 show will be a pay-per-view TV special called One More Shot that will air in the United States at 9 p.m. ET.
