Falling Skies star Moon Bloodgood welcomed a baby girl in December with husband Grady Hall.

Bloodgood and Hall named their first child together Pepper, who was born on Saturday, December 15, according to People.

The 37-year-old actress plays Dr. Anne Glass on TNT's Falling Skies and, coincidentally, Bloodgood's character was revealed to be pregnant at the end of the show's second season.

She told KoreAm in September that after she found out about the cliffhanger, "literally I got pregnant a week later. I joke that I’m method, but I’m not."

She went on to say, "I’ve never been happier. I know now what happiness feels like. It feels like when you are happy, everything just looks brighter, the world just looks sunnier. I think it’s the hormones or something because I feel fantastic. I feel truly like I have purpose, and that purpose is not about me.”

Aside from Falling Skies, Bloodgood has previously starred in the cult-favorite sci-fi series Terminator Salvation and can currently be seen on the big screen in the indie drama The Sessions playing John Hawkes' caretaker, reports E! News.

Her husband owns an Internet company and the two were married in August 2011.
