Black Sabbath has announced they will be releasing their first new album with Ozzy Osbourne since 1978 in June.
The album is titled 13 and is the band's ninth with Osbourne and its 19th overall, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Black Sabbath's lineup now includes Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, and bassist Geezer Butler along with drummer Brad Wilk of Rage Against the Machine taking over behind the kit for drummer Bill Ward.
Ward officially dropped out of the band's reunion projects in May after the band reportedly asked him to be involved at certain reunion shows only "minimally." He said, "For me, it's all or nothing."
The last Black Sabbath album that Osbourne was a part of as lead singer was Never Say Die! in 1978, which he was "ashamed" of.
"It was the worst piece of work that I'd ever had anything to do with in my life. I'm ashamed of that album -- I thought it was disgusting," Osbourne said in 1981 to an interviewer.
The band fired him in 1979 to be replaced by Ronnie James Dio.
Black Sabbath's new album 13 was recorded mostly in Los Angeles and was produced by seven-time Grammy winner Rick Rubin, reports Rolling Stone.
The band will also tour before the album in New Zealand, Australia and Japan beginning April 20. Other additional dates will be announced.
