Enjoy a high end dinner at The Tasting Room backyard Bakery Cafe.

The Tasting Room is a contemporary Spanish restaurant located at 25 Cuna Street. It is an upscale establishment with nice servers who know how to make you feel at home. Live musicians were playing, making the evening even more enjoyable.

We went for the "Ultimate Experience,” a four courses meal. The cost is $48 or $72 if you go with the wine pairing option, which we tried (and did not regret!).

I must admit, I don’t eat any fish or seafood. I just don’t like them. A tuna tartar was the first course and I decided to give it a try anyway. To my über surprise, I actually liked it. For the first time in my live, I enjoyed eating something coming out of the sea. I can’t imagine how good it could be for someone who likes fish in the first place.

It was a first for me eating a grilled wagyu and a black bean cake, the third course of our evening, but I certainly hope it is not the last. Especially if it’s at the Tasting Room.

One member of my party decided to skip the dessert, so I was able to eat both choices that was offered to us. Both the key lime cheesecake and the cinnamon raisin bread pudding should be declared illegal. They were both too good to be true.
