Disneyland just got a little more exciting with the help of social media. “The Happiest Place on Earth” is now connecting to its guests via social media to offer information on Fast Pass availability, show times, park hours, closed attractions any many more exciting features.
Technorati reports that Twitter users will have the opportunity to use their smart phones to connect to the park to find out the latest information in addition to asking questions which will be answered within the hour.
Disneyland’s Twitter handle, @Disneylandtoday, is the official Twitter for Disneyland guests, @Dsatoday is for guests at Disney’s California Adventure and @Disneyland is a live, daily information feed.
As well as offering information on around the park delays, the feed will also inform you if the ride you are on will have a special passenger a-la Queen of Hearts, Chip and Dale, Aladdin or others!
The feed also promises to help young Disney goers find their favorite Disney characters and offers a secret surprises during Disney’s “Limited Time Magic.”
