Anytime you can break a record held by The Beatles, you know you are in rare company. It’s a club that U.K. singer Emeli Sande has just joined with her debut album Our Version of Events. The album has set the record for most consecutive weeks on the Top 10 for a debut album.

According to The Independent, Our Version of Events has just spent its 63rd week in the Top 10. That beats the 62 weeks that the Beatles’ first album, Please Please Me, spent in the Top 10 in 1963 and 1964. That album celebrated its 50th anniversary last month.

BBC News notes that during its chart run, Our Version of Events sold over 100,000 copies in a week three times. It has sold 1.82 million copies, according to the Official Charts Company.

It was released in February 2012 and helped her win best female artist and album at the BRITs. It also includes three No. 1 U.K. hits, “Read All About It,” “Next to Me” and “Beneath Your Beautiful.” She also performed at the London Olympics opening and closing ceremonies.

“It feels quite surreal to even have your name mentioned in the same sentence as The Beatles,” Sande said in a statement. “For a record to stay there for so long it means that people have connected with it so that's how I'm enjoying celebrating this record.”
